OUR METHODS

"All behaviour is communication."

At Behaviorally Fit, we believe that all behaviour is a form of communication. By utilizing the science of Applied Behavioural Analysis, we delve into the root causes of maladaptive behaviours to design effective plans that foster more functionally appropriate alternatives. It's crucial for everyone involved —parents, educators, and caregivers —to be aligned in their approach. We ensure that strategies are shared across all environments, promoting continuity and enhancing the success of generalizing new skills.

EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICE

Applied Behaviour Analysis

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is a science-based approach to understanding behaviour and how it is affected by the environment. ABA helps us identify why certain behaviours happen and teaches more effective, positive ways to respond.

By using evidence-based strategies like reinforcement, visual supports, and skill-building, ABA supports individuals in developing communication, emotional regulation, and daily living skills—while reducing challenging behaviours.

At Behaviourally Fit Consulting, we apply ABA in a compassionate, strength-based way to help children, families, and educators thrive.

We firmly believe that children thrive in an environment where they feel happy and engaged, which is why we do not endorse the use of punishment procedures in our approach.
